November Newsletter

Hello Parents,
Students have produced some awesome work throughout the last 2 months and we are very proud of the commitment being demonstrated. Last month, we had a number of student presentations that helped improve public speaking skills and we will continue to provide these opportunities in the future.

This month, we will be reading a new ELA book called “Animal Look-Alikes”. This book explores the differences between animals that look similar to each other and that often get confused for one another. We are sure that ACI2 students will find this book extremely interesting!

In our second Science Unit, we will be leading the students through an exploration of how animals grow and change, how humans grow and change and how humans affect the world and the life of other animals.

In Math, we will be learning about geometry. We’ll cover the different attributes of figures; angles, lengths directions, vertices, and faces. We’ll also go over some 3-D figures and their structures.
